More than a Job: Promoting Racial Equity & Addressing Employment Needs to Secure Minnesota’s Future Prosperity
For the past eight years, MSPWin, a collaboration of a dozen local and national foundations, helped to shape discussions around workforce development policies in Minnesota. Investing more than $9 million, MSPWin focused on increasing access to family-sustaining career pathways for Minnesotans, especially for BIPOC, while also working to improve the workforce system. As MSPWin nears its intended sunset at year end, we invite you to join us for a look back at what was learned over eight years and most importantly, how we as a state and region should move forward together to address the unprecedented economic and employment challenges we face as a result of the pandemic. Panelists include Erin Olson (RealTime Talent), Pahoua Yang Hoffman (Community Impact), Eric Muschler (The McKnight Foundation), and Aretha Green-Rupert (Carlson Family Foundation). The event will be moderated by Kathy Tunheim.
